Pink Sweater - Valentines Day Inspiration

I love Valentines Day! I know a lot of people think it's super cheesy, but not this gal! Not that Tooth and I ever really do anything crazy out of the ordinary for the holiday. I just love the colors, the candy, the love in the air. It's one of my favorite holidays! :)

This outfit is a fun idea for date night or even a fun outfit for work the week of Valentines Day. This red bag has been so much fun. I wear it most often around the holidays. Christmas, Valentines Day and 4th of July. It's just festive! I wanted a red bag for a long time and finally got this when I was in AZ visiting a friend a little over a year ago. And I've never regretted this purchase!

This bag is only $30 and it's a Chanel copy! I'm totally want it! More red bags linked below. :) You can do pops of red (and pink!) in jewelry, too. I love adding these layers of interest. Look at these darling red tassel earrings. This red gingham clutch is so cute!

My exact sweater (here) is no longer available in the soft pink color. But the black sweater would be so fun with these pink heels! (I will link more pink heels below - so fun!) My denim is older. And I still love this pair. The overly distressed look is something I am a big fan of. I'm serious. You need these!

What are your plans for Valentines Day??

Blakely's "Pink Room"

This sweet girl. She jut kills me. When we moved into our new house, she started referring to her room as the "pink room". Haha. I love her. She had the same rug and bedding, but suddenly noticed it was pink and loves it! When she gets really sleepy she comes to me rubbing her eyes and in the cutest whiny/tired voice says mommy I want to go sweep in my pink bed. And it melts me.

In her previous room we had two huge built-in bookshelves that Tim made. So we actually really kept her room simple here. No bookshelves and I want to leave it all as-is for now. Because when she get's a big-girl bed (insert ugly cry face!!!!) I will probably revamp her room a bit. So for now, it's simple and clean. And I love it.

I had this tassel garland from her first birthday party and decided to put this above her dresser instead of doing a big collage wall again. Collage walls feel like such a commitment! LOL And I actually love how simple this area is. The only thing I plan on adding is this darling little piece from Modern Birch of her name. I can't wait to get it! I'm planning on putting it above the garland.

These kids go from looking out for one another and being the sweetest, to shoving the other one for looking at them. Yes. Ryder will push her just for looking at him. ???? But mooooooom. She's looking at me!!! I don't get it either, guys. They both go back and forth. And that's ok. They're learning to share and be kind. I reallllllly savor the moments when they are playing together and giggling at each other. Their little conversations kill me. They worry about each other and love sneaking off to the pantry to get snacks when no one is looking. ;) I have loved watching their relationship change and grow as they get older. I truly pray they are always buddies. (They are currently running around chasing each other and squealing as I write this. Best sound ever.)

Kiddies outfits and room deets are all linked below. xo

Blakely is holding her rattle here. It's so cute! It's great gift idea. I have her name and birthdate engraved on it. It's a beautiful keepsake!

My top is couple years old - this is the updated version! // leggings
Blakely's bear pants // Bows // Engraved rattle
Ryder's shirt - similar look here // Pants
(**Ryder's exact shirt was purchased from a shop on Etsy. I had the worst experience receiving the items I purchased! I do not want to mention company name, but I can't recommend the exact tee because it was not a smooth experience. I still haven't been refunded for items I purchased that I never received! This is the first time I have had a bad experience with an Etsy shop - and I'm an Etsy addict. But I will always be honest with you guys and never recommend something I don't actually love.)

The measure growth chart was made by my mom and I when Ryder was little! Similar here.

Sweater + Boots

I live for outfits like this. Big, comfy sweater and the cutest boots. My boots are a couple years old, but these are similar and I love the detail! They really are so comfortable. If you aren't into the heel, these are super cute! Such a great everyday boot.

My sweater is from Scout and Molly's in Park Meadows. I can't find it on their online shop, but linking similar sweaters below. And can I just mention this one?! So freaking cute and $15?! Amazon for the win.

I recently mentioned in this blog post that these sunnies are new and I looove them. They are such a statement and totally worth the splurge! Treat-yo-self. ;) Here is a similar pair on Amazon for cheaper. This style is so cute and I love the tort color. And here is my everyday "disc" necklace I've been wearing lately. I really adore this entire shop!
