Crisscrossed Sweater + Gold Flats

This sweater is the prettiest, brightest yellow. Such a fun pop! And the detail on the back is just ...YES! I got this sweater during the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale and couldn't wait for it to be cool enough to wear it! The bell sleeves are so cute and I love the relaxed fit. This black denim is a favorite of mine. I wear this pair a lot with my kids because it's super stretchy and forgiving when I'm chasing after my monkeys! Such a great price point and I really dig the distressed look.

These gold flats of mine are a couple years old, but these and these are similar. And I love them both! This gold flat is a classic and will go with everything. Dressing anything up a bit! A great piece for any wardrobe. I love this look because I feel put together but really I am so comfortable!

This black Rebecca Minkoff handbag is so pretty! I can't get enough of it. It's just a great black basic to have. It looks very similar to the Chanel bag (which is like $5,000!?! or more!). And these black aviators are a must! They are a bit oversized and I love the matte black. They make me feel cool. Ha! Have you guys seen that bumper sticker (usually on a mini van) that says "I used to be cool". LOL I love that sticker. I don't drive a mini van (ew), but I'm thinking of getting that sticker anyway. And just wearing it on my forehead when I'm with my kids in public and I'm covered in cereal, milk stains, I'm sweating and have makeup smeared across my face because my kids are nuts and motherhood is messy!!

B Box Sippy Cups + Nap Time

I never knew how much fun it would be to try out new baby products until I was a couple years into motherhood. It's sooo fun trying new things. All the cute designs and new ideas out there are awesome. These b box sippy cups are so cute! They have a weighted straw at the bottom of the cup, so when the kid tips the cup in any direction, the straw moves around so the kids can still get the liquid out! Genius. These are our go-to sippy cups these days. I also love the colors.

My favorite sippy cup and my favorite kiddies. I could eat them up!! Ryder just recently started waking up super early in the morning. Like before 6am. And I'm not down with that! Both kids go to bed around 8pm and wake up around 7 or 8am. Ryder has always been a great napper, but now I'm thinking it's time to take it away. When I put him in his room for nap time, he will nap. But then it makes him wake up soo freaking early. So sad to say goodbye to naps for this little man!.. and for myself. Nap time is my jam because I get a few minutes to focus on my to-do list or just time to rejuvenate and rest. I knew this day was coming. But noooooooo!

But now I am trying to teach him what "quiet time" means and he's refusing. He's simply too excited about his toys to even think about sitting down and being still for a whole movie or show. Any tips on how to still get some down time for toddlers once naps are out of the picture? TIA!! #sos

Her sandals. I can't. Heart eyes!!!!
Fruit roll up lover. Just like her mommy!!

On-The-Go Outfit

Most days I am dressed super casual. Mommin' aint easy! And I feel so restricted with my kiddies when I'm not dressed for the occasion. So I'm usually in leggings (or very stretchy denim), some sort of flip flop or flats and an easy, simple tee. This outfit here is very plain (no patterns or colors) but I really like mixing patterns and colors. I'm not big into "matching". As I write this I am wearing purple pants, white and black striped shirt, cream sweater, teal converse and a patterned headband. Ha! I feel most myself when dressed very casual. And most comfy. Duh.

I have been searching for a new denim jacket for so long! I wanted something distressed and soft. I finally found one I loved at Apricot Lane and wear it allll the time. (This is similar.) As far as basic, plain tees, I love this, this and this. Have both in many colors and wear them over and over again.

This legging is my favorite and I have several pairs! They are hard to beat and a great price point. These slide sandals are so cute! They are a steal from Target (copy cat from similar looks by Valentino, Kate Spade and Steve Madden).

My Apple Watch is my JAM. Every mom needs one. I don't feel like I have to have my phone in my hands at all times because if someone calls or texts, my watch lets me know! It's way less distracting. I also love mixing up the bands for a pop of different color. My phone case is by Loopy and it's also a great hands-free trick. I can just loop it onto my finger and also carry the 50 other things I have to carry. (Having toddlers = I am a human backpack carrying anything and everything they may possibly want.)

Anywho, dressing casual is my jam and some basic staples are necessary for everyone! All items linked below. xo

Knit Pullover + Peep Toe Booties

I've been so excited to wear my fall clothes, but it's still too hot! This knit pullover is perfect because it's light and loose. It's so comfortable and something you can easily throw a jacket over when it does cool down. I also just can't wear socks yet. I love when my feet are freeeeeee. LOL Seriously though. I can't wear tennis shoes (or real shoes) for very long before my feet are freed. I am happiest in flip flops! So these peep toe booties are where it's at! Look perfect for fall but still have the open toe. They are a current favorite of mine! They are so cute and a very comfortable heel height. They also come in tan and I love them.

I've had this black denim for a couple years now and it's my favorite. I love the distressed look and they are so stretchy and forgiving. I've also had this leopard clutch for a while now and still love it so much. This piece is a must-have in my opinion! My choker is a few years old and no longer available. But it was from Express and this one is very similar. A nice, light layered piece to add interest.

Little Black Dress + Monogram Necklace

I'm finally warming to the idea of fall. I haven't embraced it yet because it's still so hot! But I love the idea of fall candles, hot coffee, cozy blankets by the fire and boots! Yay. But for now, we are still transitioning into cooler weather and it's hard to bust out the full-blown fall wardrobe!

I love timeless pieces like this dress. I know I'll wear this over and over. My exact dress is from the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale and is currently sold out. Dang it! But loving this and this. Both similar! This dress is so soft, feminine, flattering and comfortable. It also isn't a loud pattern (nothing too memorable) which I love because I always find that I get more use out of those pieces. I'm a big repeat offender! :) No shame in my game. You can wear a dress like this to so many different types of events and occasions. My extra large monogram necklace here. This thing has gotten a lot of use over the past 2-3 years!

I have fallen more and more in love with my Apple Watch. So I decided to get a couple different bands for it to mix it up. I'm loving this one for when I'm more dressed up and don't want to wear a rubber band. My Rebecca Minkoff bag and nude heels are a couple years old, but linking similar looks below. I also just got these. I needed a new pair of classic nude heels and I can't wait to wear them!
