White Lace + Colorful Statement Earrings - Denver Style Magazine

I recently fell in love with a new boutique in Centennial. I really love going to Streets of Southglenn mall and walking around. It's so pretty with the flowers and water fountains! Apricot Lane is the cutest little boutique. I wanted everything! These fun, colorful earrings are from a recent trip. I've worn them a couple times and always get questions about them. They have some really fun jewelry right now.

I also got a new distressed denim jacket while I was there. I've been looking for a new denim jacket for ages but never found one I loved until Apricot Lane! This white lace top is everything. It's from a new boutique I found online, Miss Match. I love it! I have this white basic tank to underneath - must have tank. I have several in white and black and wear them under everything.

I have had these bracelets for a long time and keep wearing them over and over. They are great basic pieces you can layer with anything! 1. Stella and Dot, 2. Tory Burch wrap bracelet, and 3. The Styled Collection. My Rebecca Minkoff bag is at least a year old and no longer available. Which is so sad because it's such a great bag!! This one is very similar though. I'm also loving this and this!!! That second one is a close copy of the Balenciaga bag. I freaking love this bag and I'm so excited there is a similar looking bag for a fraction of the price!

I love this classic dark wash denim. I am linking a few below at different price points. I love them all. If you want to make this look more fall-friendly, you can switch out these wedges for cute little booties. I will link both below. (FYI the wedges are currently on sale and are so comfortable. I highly recommend them!) xo

Pom Pom Dress + Knock Offs FTW!

This dress is so simple and easy. And so cute! It's currently on major sale - only $13!! Run and go grab one for yourself. I love easy pieces like this I can throw on and be ready for the day. This is one of the reasons I love summer. It's just easier! Unlike the fall and winter when you have to layer everything up. Don't get me wrong, I love layers. Like, a lot. But there is something so easy, breezy about summer that I just can't get enough of.

I have mentioned this bag before. It's a steal from Amazon! And a great knock off of a much pricer Goyard bag. I've wanted that dang Goyard bag for ages, so when I found this identical one on Amazon I snatched it up real quick! It comes in tons of colors and I am always tempted to get more because it is such a fun tote - and perfect size!

These glasses are also a huge hit (similar here). And again, a great price point. I also just got these aviators and love them! They are larger than my Raybans, and I really like the size. I kept this outfit really simple with just my everyday bar necklace and mu fav studded sandal from Target. Another great knock off of the Valentino studded sandal! I seriously loooove these sandals. Summer, don't leave me!!!!!!

PS this lip color is Smash Box in color 'baja bound' and it's so pretty!

Lady in Red

It's almost Fri-Yay! :) I have big plans to visit one of my besties (and her newborn babe) and hang with my kids all weekend. Pool, pizza, coloring, movies on the couch in pjs. I can't wait! What are you guys up to this weekend?

This is a new top I purchased during the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale and I gotta say, it's a keeper. I'm loving this color and the flared sleeves are so much fun. It's a perfect, easy top to throw on when you're going out. I added a nude heel to dress it up a bit. My strap heels are a few years old but this is a similar look here

I kept this look simple and clean. I love white bags, so I linked a few similar looks to my LV bag below. I'm so happy to be blonde again. It's been a while since the short little brown phase, but whenever I see pics from that short time, I'm like "who is that?!!?" Ha! I just feel like myself and I'm happy to be back. But geez, bleach really does take a toll of our hair, doesn't it? I already feel a difference and I'm trying so hard to get moisture back in with moisture masks. I'm currently loving this one! I've heard nothing but great things about this brand. It's a little pricey, but it feels soo good! I think it really is helping. That and oil are my best friends. I'm loving this oil right now.

Family Photos with Lisa Pummel @ Rose Garden

The past couple years I have decided to get family pictures taken in the summer time because all the kids have birthdays in the summer. So it's fun to do a little shoot each year as a family. I love seeing the difference year after year! This year Lisa recommended we shoot at this gorgeous rose garden in Littleton. I had no idea this place even existed! It was so pretty and we were lucky to get wonderful weather the night of our shoot.

It's so hard to get five people to look decent at the same time in one photo! Ha. So I really just embrace the chaos and try not to have anything too specific in mind when we do shoots all together because it never turns out the way I envision. It usually turns out great! But going into family photo shoots with really specific image ideas in mind always set me up for disappointment because news flash: you can't control toddlers!

A tip I give people when they're looking to take family pictures like this (if they have multiple little ones) is bring help! Whether it's a grandma, friend or a baby sitter, bring someone who can be a helper with the little ones! We brought our sitter to this shoot and she is so helpful with trying to get the kids to both look at the camera and makes goofy faces to get them to smile. It works, guys! I also give her mini marsh mellows so she can give the kids little bites of candy throughout the shoot and that helps the kids get excited about behaving well so they can get little treats! (You can see my other family photo shoot tips here.)

PS my dress has the prettiest details! It's perfect for weddings, date night, church, work, etc. It's a must-have! And it's currently on sale! Shop here

Blakely started ballet and tap a few months ago and now she loves showing off her "first position" and tapping her toes as often as possible. It KILLS me. :)
Blakely and Daddy singing "itsy bitsy spider" :)
These two kill me! Haha. Ryder with his legs crossed. He looks like an old man smoking a cigar in his recliner. Ha!!!
