My New Favorite *Yellow* Tote

Hey guys! I am so excited about my newest tote. (I have a problem. And it may involve hoarding handbags.) I have been in love with this $1,400 Goyard handbag (here) for years!!! Seriously, years. I have specifically wanted this yellow handbag but it's so pricey. I was randomly shopping on Amazon one night (surprise, surprise) and found an amazing copy of the Goyard bag (here)! You guys, it's so close to the designer bag!! I thought I would order it (it's only $50! A steal compared to the designer bag) and see if it was worth my money. If I was disappointed, I would just return it. But it honestly is great. I have used it every single day since I got it in the mail and it holds more than you'd think! I carry toys, diapers, wipes, sunscreen... everything I need fits no problem. It comes in so many colors! Shop more colors here.

This check chambray top is a fun way to mix up a basic chambray. It is loose and thin. Perfect for spring and I will totally throw this over dresses and tank in the summer, too! It's so cute! I paired it with my favorite black jeans (seriously can't get enough of them and they're only $70) and black sandals that I love. And they are on sale! Yahoo! They also come in a neutral color, which I have always wanted.

This look is simple and easy, my kinda look! You could always dress this down even more by throwing on some flip flops (these are my favorite). I am loving the weather right now! Spring is totally my jam. The kids and I play outside on the driveway with bubbles and sidewalk chalk every night and it's my absolute favorite. Fresh air is always a good idea! PS It was so windy when we were taking these pics... Couldn't keep my hair out of my face to save my soul!

Casual Mommy or Weekend Outfit

I'm sure it comes as no shock that this is what I look like most days. With two toddlers, I am constantly covered in food!!! Seriously, so much food. This comfy sweater from Target is a must-have. I have two of them and love them so much.

These are also my go-to leggings (I have four pairs!). This tote is a favorite of mine. It's so big and can hold everything I need. My love for totes is real, guys. And this one is my favorite. It reversible and comes in another pattern.

This hat is another must-have basic. I love that it's plain and matches everything. I can throw this one on (when my hair is 6 days dirty) and not worry about it matching whatever I already threw on that morning! These Nikes are also my most favorite. Like, ever. So light weight and comfy! Everything is linked below. :)

Denver Style Magazine - Realistic Playdate Outfit

Hey guys! Welcome back to Mommy Fashion via Denver Style Magazine. I love everything about this easy outfit. I feel cute, put together but still able to chase my kiddos around. This tote gives me life!!! I love it. You can fit so much stuff in there! Plus, it's just adorable. That never hurt nobody. ;-)

I love colorful bracelets that are easy to throw on (or take off) to add a little pop to my outfit. I'm really into basic t's and tops (this one is from Fabrik) because then I can mix it up with different bags, jewelry, shoes, etc. All the fun layers! These bracelets are a mix from different shops, but you guys know I love Benny J Designs! (I linked more below photos.)

These distressed shorts from Pinks Boutique in Bonnie Brae are my most favorite. I have worn them SO much this summer. They are a bit longer and I love that. (You can read about my random rant about girls in short-shorts HERE.) And of course, my favorite "fancy" flip flops. They really do make me feel a bit more dressed up/cute than Nikes, Birkenstocks or my go-to basic flip flops. But I love all of those options, too! A girls gotta have options, amiright?!

This tote has worked well for me as a diaper bag if I have the kiddos with me. As the weather changes into fall, I can easily swap the shorts out for leggings or jeans. As well as switch the flip flops for cute booties or Converse.

New Favorite Reversible Tote + Gladiator Sandals

Hey guys! I got this new tote I've been debating about for a loooong time. I don't know why I was so hesitant?! I decided YOLO! ;) I freaking love this tote so much. Of course I'm obsessed with the color, but it's also huge and I can fit so much stuff in it. It's reversible (bonus!) and the material is great. I highly recommend this bag! It comes in another color that I will also link below. I'm hoping they make it in more colors for fall/winter.

This shirt was once a dress (lol) but it seems to have shrunk over time and is def too short for me to wear without anything underneath it now! It's so comfortable and easy. I'm linking similar shift dresses below that can be worn as dresses or tops.

It's taken me a while to get on the gladiator sandal bandwagon. I just couldn't do it. But OMG, I love these sandals so much! They go with everything and make a very casual outfit feel a bit dressed up. You can wear these with a super casual outfit (like I am here) or dress it up with summer dresses, skirts, etc. Totally worth it!

My best friend got me this amazing necklace for my birthday recently and I can't get enough of it! This exact necklace isn't currently available (dang it!!) but I am linking similar ones below that are equally amazing.

I've started to wear longer shorts and no longer feel comfortable in short-shorts! A sign of getting old?! UGH. But aint nobody wants to see more than necessary these days. LOL I gravitate toward looser shorts that are a bit longer. What's up with young teen (and even college aged) chicks wearing TIIIIIGHT ass short-shorts?! Ew. I swear if Blakely tries to pull that shit on me, I will lock her in her room! Leave something to the imagination, girls!! Geez. If we can see the crease mark between your butt cheek and your thigh... We've got problems. Eye roll. Gross. Just don't. I don't care if you're 17 and have no hail damage. Just put some real shorts on and keep your butt cheeks covered! Am I the only one that feels this way about skin tight shorts?! #imold

Speaking of Blake. Her 1st birthday is coming up and... I just can't. I can't hardly look at her without wanting to burst into tears! I can not believe how fast this year has gone. We have had so much fun with her and it's hard to remember life without her! I don't know why I've been so emotional about her growing up. I love watching my kids grow, change and learn. But, why does it happen so fast?!?! Heaven help me. I just need to get a long, hard cry out. It'll feel better once I do. I hate crying! I don't know why I can't let go. I just let it build up and build up. So then when I finally BURST into tears it's usually not very pretty. HA!

I've been a big ball of emotions lately. This is new for me. I never used to feel much and was a solid rock - not healthy. Anywho, I'm just feeling so many feelings!!!! Ahhhh. One of my best friends is moving to AZ this weekend. I'm heart broken. My brother just had his first baby. My first blood nephew or niece! I am so excited for them and dying to see little Jackson (they live in San Fran, so I won't meet him for a few more weeks). My babies both have birthdays this month and I'm irritated that I can't freeze time. I recently started a new workout (that I'm loving!) but old knee injuries are bugging me and I feel my body aching and popping in ways it never used to. I feel 21. Why doesn't my body act like it did in it's 21-year-old pre-baby-making days?!

Sometimes I feel silly and/or embarrassed to feel emotional over things that may be insignificant in the long run (or even the short run). But I've realized that feelings are just feelings and people are allowed to feel sad or happy or whatever the F they want. And it's ok. Just ask Juan Pablo. He knows the drill. "It's OK!" ;)

Sunday Funday

Hope you all had a wonderful 4th of July! We got a late start today thanks to a very late night watching fireworks. But Ryder loved it! Staying up past bedtime is a rare occurrence for him and I think he enjoyed hanging with the "big kids".

This outfit is so simple and easy. This dress is a go-to for me lately! It's not maternity, which I usually don't gravitate towards, especially at this point in pregnancy. But it's so comfy and it's long enough that I don't feel like I have to tug at it to stay in place and cover what it needs to cover! I've also been loving tying thin sweaters or button ups around my waist (hmm... I guess that isn't my "waist", is it?! HA!) lately. I love this style and having the option to throw this on if I get chilly in the evenings. But who am I kidding? I'm rarely "chilly" these days! :-D

I love this necklace I got it ages ago from Stella and Dot. I feel like it's so casual and goes with everything! Same goes for these glasses. I have a love affair with aviators and these always match no matter what I'm wearing.

And this tote... I love it! It's reversible, so you get two bags in one, which I love. I have this bag in two colors and grab them all the time when I don't need everything in my diaper bag or I am running errands without Ryder.

I was checking out at Target today and the woman helping me took one look at me and said "WOAH!! Are you past your due date?! You look like you're about to pop!" Ummm... No! I am not past my due date, but THANKS for that boost of confidence! LOL She went on and on about how I must be sooo uncomfortable and I'm probably "gonna get a LOT bigger" because you gain "SO much more in the last month". Ugh, really?! HUSH IT, lady! Aside from the heat, I actually feel pretty good. I've been able to get decent sleep most nights and try to stay in the A/C when possible. My biggest struggle is keeping up with my Ryder man. He's a busy-body and he's heavy! So carrying him around is hard on my body. But I actually feel pretty good for the most part.

My emotions have been all over the place this pregnancy. A lot of the time I felt like "OMG, this is never going to end!" But now that I am so close to the end, I'm getting kinda sad that it's going to be over before we know it. I really do love being pregnant (even though some parts of it SUUUUCK) and I think there is no cuter accessory than a baby bump. I LOVE feeling her move in there and I think pregnancy is the coolest thing ever. I also love bitty babies and can't wait to snuggle my little girl. Ohhhh, the baby snuggles. Is there anything better?!

I got a mani/pedi this afternoon and the lady next to me had a 6 month old sitting in her lap while she got her pedi. This squishy little boy was so adorable! He was so giggly and snuggly and it took everything in me to not BEG this woman to let me hold and cuddle her baby haha! He was so cute and OMG I just looooove babies. I never asked to hold him. Instead I just sat there for about 45 minutes starring at him and smiling like an idiot. I think I was kinda creeping her out but I seriously couldn't look away. LOL I can't wait to meet this baby girl and just the thought of smelling her sweet baby skin, kissing her chubby cheeks and dressing her in cute pink clothes makes me smile like a fool. Less than a month left! Yahooo!

Diaper Bags I Love

I remember when Ryder was a newborn and wondering which bag was the best? I LOVE bags and knew I'd end up with more than one. I just didn't know I'd end up with this many. Ha! So maybe these tips can help you? I guess I am some what of a bag hoarder. I love bags of all shapes and sizes! When I don't want to use a diaper bag I tend to gravitate toward big totes that I can just throw my things in. But here is my experience so far with the diaper bags I've purchased over the years...

Pottery Barn - Here
This bag is large with lots of pockets. With just one baby, it felt like too many pockets for me, but I love the classic look of it. If I need a larger bag because we’re going somewhere where I need to pack more things than normal (extra outfit, lunch, etc.), I’ll grab this bag. Sometimes having too many pockets (like this bag) can make me feel LESS organized. This bag is so big, it’s kind of a pain to even fit into the basket on my stroller! But it’s so cute/classic and I still grab it from time to time. Because it’s bigger, I can pack a lot of stuff in it! I won’t be surprised if this is my go-to once I have two babies to pack for.

Marc Jacobs - Here
This is also a larger bag and has lots of pockets. This bag is not stiff or structured and sometimes that drives me crazy unless it’s really full because it just folds down on itself and makes it hard to see inside. All the big, extra pockets can make it hard for me to feel organized and makes it harder on me to know which side of the bag and which pocket things are in. But I love this bag while traveling because I can pack SO much in it! When it’s really full, it doesn’t fold down on itself. I love the look of this bag and think the fun patterns are SO cute. This bag is also a little too big to fit perfectly in the basket in my stroller.

Ju Ju Be - Here
This is the bag I am currently using. It’s a little smaller than some of my others, but still plenty big! I LOVE this bag. You can wear it over your shoulder, cross body or as a backpack. Having the backpack option is so handy. Especially when traveling. Sometimes the shoulder strap bags are tough because every time you bend down, they swing down and get in the way. There are a lot of pockets in this bag, but not too many. I feel very organized with this bag and love the patterns they offer! Added bonus: this bag fits perfectly in the basket of my stroller!

Lassig Green Label Neckline Bag - Here
I loved that I could get this bag over my shoulder easily. That is a MUST for all my bags. Again, this had a lot of pockets. Which is something I may prefer when I am packing a diaper bag for two little ones instead of one. This bag is more structured than the PB and MJ bags, which I liked. Because this bag is a little smaller and structured, it fit into my stroller basket easier.

Diaper Dude - Here
My hubby has this bag and just has it ready to go for nights he might take Ryder out without me. He prefers this to using my “girlie” bags. He leaves diapers and wipes in it and will just throw in a snack and a sippy cup when he takes off.

Skip Hop Pronto Changing Station - Here
This is so convenient. Especially if you’re a minimalist. I always wish I was a minimalist, but I can’t do it! I always feel like I “might” need 100 other things. LOL But this changing pad station can store wipes, diapers and small creams in it. So if you have this in your diaper bag and need to leave the room to go change the baby, you just grab this bag and have everything you need right there. My hubby loved when I had this in my diaper bag when Ryder was little and needed diaper changes more often because he wouldn’t have to go digging around in my bag for the wipes, diapers and cream. It was just all right there. He’d just grab this and change him for me, which I always appreciated! Anything to make diaper changes easier/quicker!
Here is a picture (via Pinterest) of my Ju Ju Be bag that I love.
What is your go-to bag? Did you need a bigger bag with two kids vs one?
