Hi
Friends! I was motivated to start a blog to keep family and friends who live
out of town up to date on my families’ adventures. I have had a passion for writing
ever since I can remember. One Sunday, at church, we were given cute red journals and encouraged to write three things we were thankful for
(big and small) each night. I was overly excited about this journal and wrote
and wrote and wrote… I now have boxes and boxes of journals that I don’t know
what to do with!
Writing
became a natural way for me to express myself and I fell in love. Of course, as I got older I stopped
journaling daily. That was until high school when a teacher of mine (shout out
to Mr. Leyba!) encouraged us to stop thinking so much and write. He had a quote on his wall that said, “shut up
and write”. I loved him and that quote. With his encouragement, my love of
writing quickly came back to me.
I
am also obsessed with photography. I say obsessed because it really is an
obsession that drives my hubby crazy! LOL. When I was young my dad was always
following my brother and me around taking pictures of us. I guess it rubbed off
on me! My dad and I share a huge passion
for photography and I just can’t get enough pics of my adorable little
boy.
My
husband, Tim (his nickname is “Tooth”), and I met in 2009 and married in 2011. I
have a 10-year-old stepson, TJ, and we welcomed our son Ryder into our lives in
2013. We are expecting a new
addition (a little girl!) this July. And I can’t leave out my first “baby”,
Lincoln Ross (our Chihuahua). Tim and I got Lincoln in 2009 and he is the
coolest dog I’ve ever known.
I
love: being a wife and mommy, writing, photography, family, traveling, fitness,
dance, crafting, interior decorating, fashion, food, hair and makeup and more!
My love for all these things will eventually end up on the blog.
