Little Red Riding Hood + The Big Bad Wolf - Halloween 2018 (and... Mario Brothers!)

So my big theme this year for the family costumes was Mario. I even bought a very special Princess Peach dress for Blakely. But then last minute I found this Little Red Riding Hood costume at TJ Maxx and of course, the kids loved these costumes/theme! :) I'm so glad I went ahead and bought the costumes for them because they are sooo cute.

We still took some pics in the Mario themed costumes (I'll add some pics of those costumes in this blog post, too) but the kids had way more fun with the other theme. Plus, Blakely was soooooo freaked out by Ryder and daddy wearing those huge fake mustaches. Bahahaha.

I'm so glad the kids see the fun and joy in Halloween. I always loved Halloween! My kids are really into dressing up in costumes right now, so it's tons of fun! Ryder also has an astronaut costume and a new dragon costume. (Both kids were dragons for Halloween last year - you can see those pics here.) And Blake got a Snow White costume and a mermaid costume. Ha! I can't say no. #oops

Sprinkle + Dot Slumber Party

Last week we had a little family sleepover in the family room in our Sprinkle + Dot tents. You guys, the kids were sooooo excited about this and kept saying how cool it all was! :) It was the cutest thing seeing them so pumped about it.

Sprinkle + Dot is the cutest company ever! They have multiple themes (I can't wait to do the Star Wars theme for Ryder in the future and the Blush + Blooms theme for Blake) and they are all really cute. Like, the cutest ever.

This is a great idea for a birthday party or anything else you might be celebrating with your kids. You choose your theme and they come and set everything up for you! So easy and so much fun. They also brought cupcakes (to match!) and the kids gobbled those up so fast. Haha. We had a little party with our family and stayed up late watching movies, drinking cider, eating popcorn and snuggling in the tents by the fire. Seriously, it made my mommy heart so happy!

My kids keep asking when the tents are coming back. :) The kids also had so much fun with these lanterns and the cute string lights on the tents. It really was so great. All the heart eyes!

Sprinkle + Dot

Favorite Cardigan for Fall + Winter

This is my favorite cardigan for fall and winter! I bought it in two colors and know I will rewear these over and over again. I am linking lots of cardigans I am digging below. 

This denim is a current favorite. Very comfortable and I love the wash. But if you've been following my stories on Insta, than you know I am also loooooving on these jeggings. Must. Have. My basic white tee is a must. So easy to layer. And these sandals give me all the heart eyes!

I had been saving up for this LV for a while. It was on my list and when I was finally ready to make the purchase, they were sold out!! The lady at LV told me I might as well move on, because they cannot keep them stocked and they're so hard to get your hands on. LV makes the same bag in a pretty pink, but I just really had my mind set on this classic print. Long story short, I ended up buying a different bag (another one that had been on my list of dream bags) and love that one as well. But somehow I ended up stumbling across this fake LV online and the reviews were great! I figured I would get it and see if I liked it. You guys, this fake is so good!!!! I have also purchased a fake Goyard (acutally two, oops) online and was very happy with that purchase as well.

So, since then I've been finding lots of good fakes online and they are at a much better price point. Duh. (See fake Gucci here.) I have a major handbag problem and don't see this love affair ending anytime soon. ;) So throwing in a fake every now and then is a great idea in my opinion! I have several real LV's and I wouldn't have ever known this bag wasn't real. It's a steal, guys! RUN!!!!! (Another great fake LV here.)

Pop of Color + Leopard

So it's been a minute since I've blogged! For the most part, I took the summer off so I could hang with the kids and get some home renovation done. Our home is starting to come together and I'm excited to take a break from home renovation... it's exhausting!!

This green sweater is the prettiest color! And dang it, this exact color is currently sold out (insert crying face) but I also bought the cream color, which is still available, and it's so pretty. I will also link other green sweater options below! You can't see it, because it's tucked under my sweater, but my new everyday stackable necklace is this initial necklace. I got the kids initials and I love how dainty it is. I like to stack it with this and this.

This denim is so comfy and I love the wash. And have I raved about these leopard flats enough yet? :) They're so pretty. And I'm alllll about very easy and comfortable ways to dress up an outfit. This Gucci bag also makes all my outfits feel dressier and more put together. I am sooo in love with this bag. The chain is so pretty and I love that I can wear it two ways (because the strap moves). It's definitely a splurge, but so worth it! I saved up for this beauty and loooove it. The prettiest color.
